What is Belouga?
Belouga is an exciting interactive learning platform that enables educators and students to Deep Dive into global learning and collaboration.
Educators need to sign up to the Breaking the Cycle Education Channel to access Kate’s original series and shows, all aligned to subject area, standards and the global goals.
Belouga is already sparking creativity and curiosity in over 100 countries, providing social learning that is accessible for all.
So far Kate has produced four core series (25 lessons):

Premium Lesson Series
Kate and Belouga have created original series out of Kate’s films and expeditions, all inspiring and providing the knowhow for future change-makers to create their own expeditions and impact projects.

What is The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award
Virtual Bronze Exploration and Virtual Silver Exploration?
Exclusive to Breaking the Cycle Education, Kate and Belouga have teamed up with The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award to present the new Virtual Bronze and Silver Exploration curriculum. The VBE and VSE are designed as an alternative to the Adventurous Journey section of the Award. It is not an easy alternative but a challenging option, particularly where participants are unable to complete their Adventurous Journey (such as due to COVID-19 restrictions, financial constraints, physical disability or incarceration).
The curriculum can also be used to make completing the traditional Adventurous Journey component of the Duke of Ed Bronze and Silver awards more streamlined.
